Normal standard fasteners in domestic market are now being oversupplied, while demand for high-end fasteners exceeds supply, which have to be imported. National Machinery Bureau takes normal standard fasteners as development-limited product, and encourages developing non-standard ones with high strength. More and more high strength fasteners are needed with the development of industry level and also the technology progress.
Boeing Company plans to increase 3,400 planes in the coming 20 years, NDRC also invests RMB800 billions to build rail transit for 36 cities. According to this plan, newly increased operating mileage for city rail transit will be up to 6,560 kilometers till year of 2020, and also the demands for railway fasteners will be 5.5 to 7 billion.
